November Medical Flight

We have worked for thirteen-month girl, suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy, to save her life.

JAS have coordinated with her family, doctors, and affiliates in order to complete the project successfully.

After the girl left Tokyo, she arrived in Toronto in the next early morning, and she was carried to the hospital immediately. Now she stays calm after surgeries. JAS pray for her recovery.

Diplomatic Flight from Iraq

JAS provided operational assistance for a diplomatic flight from Iraq at Haneda Airport (RJTT) on 20th November. We have received a letter of appreciation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs o f Japan for our operational assistance.

Dear Sirs,

We would like to inform you of the current situation on airports in Japan after the earthquake.

As of April 1, ALL AIRPORTS except SENDAI (RJSS) are available with normal operational hours. Please note that SENDAI airport is open only for the SDF (self-defence force).

If you have questions on any specific airport where you plan to fly, please feel free to contact us. We will respond to your queries with the latest information.

Providing ground handling service for Bulgarian Prime Minster private plane

Mr. Boyko Borissov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian government delegation arrived on an official visit to Japan　from 22nd to 26th January. During his stay in Japan, Prime Minister Borissov and his delegation will hold an exchange of opinions with Mr. Naoto Kan, Prime Minister of Japan, regarding bilateral relations between Japan and Bulgaria, as well as international affairs.

The government plane (Bulgarian Air Force) was departed at 10:02 am (Local time) today (26th Jan) from Tokyo uneventfully.

VVIP flight from Republic of Kazakhstan

The Lower House of Parliament representative from Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr Oral MUKHAMEDZHANOV was invited to Japan by the House of Representatives.

JAS was providing the ground handling service in both Hiroshima and Haneda airport for this VVIP flight.

APEC 2010 was held in Yokohama in mid Novmenber. JAS took part in the operaions for the presidential/VVIP flights from Australia, China, Korea, Indonesia, Russia, and the U.S.A.

AIRBUS A380 first landed at Tokyo Int'l Airport (RJTT) & New Chitose Int'l Airport(RJCC)

AIRBUS A380 landed at Tokyo Int'l Airport (Haneda/RJTT) for the first time on October 15. Prior to the opening of the new int'l terminal building on October 21, this test aircraft conducted numerous airport compatibility checks. Mr. Rainer Bruderle, German Minister of Economics and Technology was present at the ceremony and gave it a hearty welcome.

After Haneda, A380 flew to New Chitose Int'l Airport (RJCC) and went through the similar tests as it did at Haneda/RJTT.

JAS performed the operational assistance in providing A380 with jet fuel at both locations(RJTT/RJCC).

DEREGULATION for Biz jets in Tokyo Int'l Airport (RJTT/HND)

The government has just made an announcement of deregulation for business jets at Tokyo International Airport (RJTT/HND) . The new regulations will commence at the late October in liaison with the opening of the new international terminal building.

With the new rules applied, Haneda Int'l Airport will become more convenient and attractive for all business jet users.
