Asteroid explorer, HAYABUSA, completed its mission and came back to the earth (Woomera, Australia) on June 14 after 7 years' exploration in space. The HAYABUSA capsule was succesfully retrieved in the Woomera desert and transported to Japan on June 17.
JAS made a final setup for HAYABUSA whose long journey was almost ending. The aircraft landed safely at 23:23 at RJTT on the 17th. This small but tenatious man-made object was welcomed with enthusiasm by a lot of people.
